Near the recently completed new terminal of Salalah Airport, a large area of barren land is designated to facilitate commercial activities. This master plan proposes ideas for an alternative use of the land for the time being, immediately giving the site an ‘identity’. The proposals include a palm tree plantation, a solar farm, water collecting facilities, agriculture and automotive research/logistics (including a racing circuit).
